Ohio Man Arrested for Past Due Child Support Obligations

After 10 years running away from law enforcement, it is reported that a child support offender has been placed under arrest in Warren County, Ohio.

Last week Thursday, the U.S. Marshals' Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team was able to catch and arrest Jose Santo, a father who was seriously behind on his child support payments.

Since its inception in 2009, the child support team has collected $36,665,309 from parents that were delinquent with their monthly payments.  It is also recognized for achieving the highest rate of collection per dollar spent.

According to law enforcement officers, Santa was behind $25,000 on his child support payments.  After his arrest, he was indicted on felony charges of failing to pay child support back in 2000.

Are you owed child support payments?  If so, now is the time to discuss your situation with a family law attorney in your area.  A lawyer can help you take appropriate legal measures to obtain past due support payments for your children.
