Galen Hopper to Be Included in her Father's Insurance Policy

Recently, a judge in California denied Dennis Hopper's motion to exclude his daughter, Galen Hopper, from his insurance police. Galen is 7 years of age and was to be prohibited from receiving money from Hopper's $1,000,000 insurance policy.

Hopper wanted the $750,000 to be divided amongst his adult children, who he designated as his beneficiaries. However, a judge ruled this week Wednesday against Hopper. The judge said that Galen will be entitled to her share of her proceeds. Now, the $750,000 will be divided amongst Galen and her 3 older siblings. The remaining $250,000 is supposed to go to Galen's mother as part of a marital agreement she had with Hopper. Galen's mother is Hopper's fifth wife.

The motion was part of Hopper's ongoing divorce battle, which continues to make its way through California family courts.
