Warrant Issued Against Rapper Joe Budden for Failure to Pay Child Support

This week, an arrest warrant was issued for Joe Budden, a New Jersey rapper.  Allegedly, he owes almost $13,000 in delinquent child support payments.

According to the New Jersey Journal, a warrant was issued for Budden after he failed to appear for a hearing in May regarding his past due child support payments, which total $12,983.

His warrant was one of many issued by Hudson County officials who are hoping to locate in crackdown on "deadbeat dads." 

Police told news sources that this is not the rap star's first time in trouble with the law regarding child support.  Back in August of 2009, he was placed under arrest for failure to pay.
