Charlie Sheen Pleads Guilty to Domestic Violence

This week, news sources reported that actor Charlie Sheen will plead guilty to a misdemeanor charge of domestic violence.  In return, he will be ordered to serve 30 days of jail time.

Prior to deciding to plead guilty, 44 year old Sheen was charged with felony menacing, misdemeanor third-degree assault and misdemeanor criminal mischief.  His criminal charges resulted from a fight with his wife, Brooke Mueller, on Christmas Day.

According to a source that is close to the actor, Sheen will go to court on June 7th.  He will then plead guilty to his misdemeanor domestic abuse charge and in exchange, he will have to spend 30 days in jail.  However, with good behavior, the actor may only have to serve 15 days.

If you have been charged with domestic abuse, you need to protect yourself by hiring a family law attorney immediately.  Hiring an attorney is the best step you can take when it comes to fighting your criminal charges.
