Tyra Banks Gets Restraining Order

Supermodel Tyra Banks is having a difficult week. A few days after getting sued, Banks was back in court to file a restraining order against Marten Williams, Jr., a man who has been stalking her and her family for some time now. Williams has reportedly been harassing Banks, her mother, and brothers, leaving messages and notes, some of which have been more vicious than others.

The stalker is claiming that he and Tyra are engaged and will be married on January 8, 2011. All of this harassment has left Tyra in fear for herself and those around her, stating that ""I am in fear of Mr.Williams for my personal safety, and that of those around me, including my family and employees". The judge finally granted Banks the restraining order that is effective until October 28, 2010 when another hearing will be held regarding the case.
