North Carolina Woman has Visitation Rights Revoked

In Raleigh, North Carolina, officials in the state ruled that the woman who is at the center of the Duke lacrosse case will not be permitted to see her children. The decision was announced after a judge released her from jail last week Friday.

On Thursday, police officers arrested Crystal Magnum after she allegedly violated a visitation order.  Magnum had been out on bail after a February criminal charge where officers say she set clothes on fire in a bathroom that she shared with her then boyfriend.

Magnum's attorney says she is the children's primary caregiver and could not help but to violate the terms of her bail and release.  However, the court ruled against her.

If you need assistance with a family law matter involving child custody or visitation, now is the time to get help from a family law attorney who can help you resolve your case as soon as possible.
