Police Find Grenade Launcher In Domestic Violence Offender's Home

Police are glad that a young woman came forward when she did. Just hours after arresting her boyfriend on domestic abuse charges, they found a stockpile of weapons in a secret room in his home. The victim approached a state trooper saying that her boyfriend, 27-year-old M.A., was chasing her. He had apparently just beaten her up at home but she was able to escape on foot. The officers were quickly able to locate the suspect who was walking along a nearby road. They detained him and found him to be in possession of marijuana as well.

After the victim told police that the suspect had weapons at their home, the officers went to investigate. They found two grenade launchers, handguns, rifles, shotguns and thousands of rounds of ammunition. The suspect has yet to be charged but is likely to face both domestic violence and weapons charges in the future. If you want to put an end to the abuse in your relationship, take the time to discuss your legal options with an experienced family lawyer.
