Celebrity Divorce: Dual Filing Details Revealed

A very public couple, known for reality TV appearances and an uninvited White House appearance, has each filed for divorce and made their complaints publicly available via the Northern Virginia Daily and many other news outlets.

M.S. and T.S. began publicizing their divorce battle in September of 2011. T.S. later dropped the case, only to pick it up again last December because M.S. had filed her own divorce complaint by then.

M.S. filed for divorce on December 15. She has accused T.S. of threatening her, committing violence against her, cruelty and constructive desertion.

In T.S.'s complaint, he accused M.S. of having an affair with a member of a rock band.

The couple had earlier received fame due to M.S.'s appearance on the "Real Housewives of D.C." and when the couple attended a state dinner at the White House – sans invitations.

M.S. claims that trouble in the marriage occurred over the summer of 2011 with T.S. showing "outbursts of rage, smashing objects; on one occasion he was physically violent toward the plaintiff, putting both hands on the sides of her head, shaking her head, and yelling at her."

M.S.'s complaint further alleges that at times T.S. took away her car keys, cell phone and money so she wasn't able to "leave the house, contact her friends or put gas in her car."

On the fateful day that M.S. ran away from her home, September 13, 2011, and reported on by dozens of media reports, additional allegations have now been made. The complaint states that M.S. telephoned the Sheriff's Office two days before her escape and reported this story:

M.S. had been locked out of the house and upon returning she found that the house was unnaturally dark and the garage door had been left unlocked – all of which caused her to grow concerned about T.S.'s safety.

M.S. alerted the Sheriff's, they arrived to find that she had already entered the house and had met T.S. in the home's movie room – seemingly waiting for her in the dark.

M.S. stated the T.S. then told her "he turned out the lights and locked the garage door because he wanted her to feel the fear so he could teach her a lesson."

This incident is what M.S. has alleged to be the cause of her abandoning the home two days later – citing "fear of the defendant."

T.S. has denied threatening M.S. with violence and locking her out in their exchange. In his own complaint, along with the accusation of adultery, T.S. claims that M.S. had been lying to him about her spending and ran away in an effort to make him "clean up the financial mess she made."

Earlier lies that T.S. discovered included M.S.'s allegations that she had been a cheerleader for the Washington Redskins and a model for Victoria Secret – all of which made him "embarrassed and ashamed of his wife and her outrageous behavior."

In his complaint, instead of focusing on events occurring two days before M.S. left him, he stated that it was on September 4 – several days earlier – that the two had attended a rock concert together, went backstage to meet some of the band members, and "at some point in the evening, (M.S.) and ... (N.S.) did commit adultery in (N.S.'s) dressing room with your defendant in the stage area outside the room."

The complaint also has a quote from rocker N.S. that has played out in several media headlines: "What happened was ... she proceeds to come into my dressing room where I am sitting down. I have tennis shoes on and she's like, nine feet tall over me. And she looks down at me like she's standing on stilts and says 'I love you. And that's never going to change.' And then what happened I said, 'Get over here! This has taken 15 years."
