A court in the South Dakota area has reportedly upheld the law that allows grandparents and others to gain custody of children who aren’t theirs. Now, a couple in the area will be given another chance to seek custody of their four-year-old granddaughter. It was previously ruled that the law was unconstitutional because it allowed courts to give others custody without first finding the child’s parents to be unfit.
