Former Basketball Star Accused of Owing Child Support

A former member of the Fab Five is gaining new fame as a delinquent parent. When he appeared before a judge in Michigan last week, he was informed that he owes $17,000 worth of child support for one of his three children.

After being arrested earlier this month, the former basketball star has been making deals. The judge overhearing his case agreed to let him use his bond money towards the amount owed for child support. However, he could still go to jail for up to four years for withholding the payments for so long, as well as avoiding calls from the state attorney general's office.

Are you having trouble getting the child support you need and deserve? If so, one of the best things you can do to prevent further failure to pay is to seek the help and assistance of a family law attorney in your state of residence.
