Dennis Hopper's Wido Sues his Estate

This week, it has been reported that Dennis Hopper's widow, Victoria Duffy, has filed a $45 million creditor's claim against her former husband's estate.

In May, Hopper died after losing his ongoing battle with prostate cancer. Prior to his death, he was involved in a long and bitter divorce with Duffy.

News sources say that Hopper drafted a new will in January which only included his children and grandchildren. However, Duffy has filed a claim and hopes to receive a payment from his estate. Allegedly, she is seeking the money to help raise the pair's seven-year-old daughter, Galen. She is also seeking thousands of dollars in lawyers' fees and some property that was owned by Hopper.

It is said that she is claiming a loss of earnings that totals $2.26 million while she was married to Hopper. Thus he would also like to be paid $10 million for alleged defamation that occurred during divorce proceedings.
