Child Support Fees to Rise

According to the Department of Economic Security, the fee that ensures child support payments are made will increase from $2.25 to $5 a month. The increase in the Clearinghouse Fee will ensure that the Arizona state budget remains balanced. These fees are mandated in cases where an order requiring a child support payment is issued or a so-called "foreign" state order for child support is registered in Arizona.
