New Child Support System Introduced in the UK

A new child support system in the UK could affect hundreds of families that would not be able to afford access to it.

According to a charity organization, over half of the families that would use the new system state that they could not afford the 100 pound fee. This contradicts government findings that separated parents would have relatively no trouble paying the fee. While this service is supposed to help families obtain better access to the funds they need to raise their children, it could prove to be a disaster and achieve the opposite effect.

After reviewing the current system, the government decided that a change was needed. Government officials believe that the new system will allow both parents to care for their children, without as much government interference as before. Time will tell whether the new child support system is a success or a complete failure.

If you have questions about child support, it is advised that you seek answers from a family lawyer near you.
