Baseball Player Accused of Owing Child Support

Irony struck home last week when a lifelong Yankees fan served a player with the Red Sox with papers to appear in court for an ongoing child support case.

The man, who proudly wore a Yankees jersey, served the pitcher just before the 3 p.m. game against the Orioles last Tuesday. It was no surprise that he upset not just fans, but team management as well, who asked if he could delay serving the papers. The papers had been issued by the Massachusetts Probate and Family Court, which demand that he appear in court to discuss the issue of child support with his ex-girlfriend.

Have you recently been served with similar child support papers? Are you concerned because you just cannot afford child support payments right now? If so, there is no time to waste in getting help from a family lawyer who can inform you about your rights as the biological father as well as possibly provide you with an affordable way to manage your payments without going into debt.
