Palin's Battle Continues for Restraining Order

The battle continues between a teenager in Pennsylvania and former VP-nominee Sarah Palin.

Shawn Christy, 19, has long been harassing Palin and her family, making a variety of threats that have caused serious concern. Although the former Alaskan governor had had a temporary restraining order against the disturbed teen, her recent visit to court ensured a permanent restraining order against not just Shawn, but his father as well.

Not only did Shawn's parents believe that he had a serious relationship with Palin, they encouraged him to continue texting her. After hearing their testimony, Palin responded: "I think they're three peas in a pod, and I fear for my friends' and for my family's safety [...] I will not reward that kind of behavior and encourage that type of behavior."

If someone is threatening to hurt your family, consult with a family law attorney now to discuss the possibility of a temporary or permanent restraining order against that person.
