Eric Williams' Wife Wants Divorce

After watching their rocky relationship on "Basketball Wives," it comes as no shock to viewers that Jennifer Williams has asked husband Eric Williams for a divorce.

The two are among several couples on the hit VH1 series that covers the life and romances of famous basketball players and their wives. Since it is a reality TV show, the cameras have always been around to witness the decline in the Williams' marriage, prompting viewers to wonder just when it would come to an end. This week Jennifer finally announced her decision to end their marriage, and discussed filing her papers at the Hudson County Superior Court in New Jersey.

Eric and Jennifer were married in 2007 in an elaborate wedding in the Bahamas, but it seems as though their lives have not always been filled with marital bliss. Jennifer cited "irreconcilable differences" on her divorce petition, but has been relatively mum about the details of their split. However, it is known that she will ask for alimony, in addition to equitable distribution of their assets.
