Little Boy Subjected to Custody Battle of Mother's Death

After surviving the death of his mother a little boy now watches as his family members become involved in a nasty custody battle over him. The boy's mother, Heather Strube, was murdered as he sat nearby in her car. Now the two parties involved in this battle, his father and his mother's parents, are working hard to gain custody of the child.

The incident happened in April of 2009 outside of the Target in Snellville just after Strube had picked up her son. Police determined that the person responsible for her death was Joanne Hayes, Strube's mother-in-law. At that time Strubes and her husband were in the middle of a divorce as well as a custody battle, perhaps prompting Hayes to step in on behalf of her son.

In the last custody hearing in June of 2010 Strube's parents won custody of the boy. Now his father wants to have that decision reversed so that he can be the sole caretaker of his son.

Are you currently in the middle of a child custody battle that is getting out of hand? If so, don't do this alone.  Instead, hire a family law attorney who can help you.
