Emmy Rossum Tries to Resolve Divorce Amicably

In order to make her divorce more equalized, Emmy Rossum has agreed to pay soon-to-be-ex-husband $57,500.

The two were secretly married in February 2008. The terms of their final divorce settlement have not been completely released.  However, it is believed that the actress will get to keep some jewelry, the house and other personal items. Her husband will get the Mercedes, the remaining jewelry and an $11,200 security deposit.

The divorce judgment, filed in the Los Angeles County Superior Court, shows that neither party will be granted spousal support. However, their community property will be split almost evenly between both parties.

If you are interested in obtaining spousal support, or blocking it, you need a family law attorney to work on your case. Although divorce is not easy for anyone, it doesn't need to be more difficult than necessary.  Don't wait to get the legal representation you need and deserve during your divorce.
