Tyra Banks Obtains Restraining Order

Talk-show host Tyra Banks and her family have been the victims of 39 year old stalker Marten Williams, Jr. since 2006. A judge has finally granted a restraining order against Martens after Bank's attorney Evan Spiegel filed in court that her stalker not only has a history of mental illness but has "targeted, harassed, and stalked" her family for years.

Earlier this month Williams was arrested for trespassing on Banks' property and has previously sent threatening letters and objects to her home. He was then placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold that, in California, placed him into confinement to protect himself and others around him.

The restraining order is only temporary, however, and will become ineffective as of October 28th. At this time another hearing will be held to determine whether the restraining order against Williams should be deemed permanent.

Has someone been threatening the safety of your loved ones? It is time to call a family law attorney to prevent them from future harm.
