Son Hears Father Loading Shotgun during Family Dispute

A domestic dispute got even uglier when a 20 year old son heard his father loading a shotgun before leaving their home. Sergeant John Urquhart of the King County Sheriffs Department said the 40 year old man, who had originally barricaded himself in to his home, will probably be charged with domestic violence fourth-degree assault.

Four local schools were put into lockdown mode as a precaution against the father who went missing before barricading himself in to his Covington home. Mike Halliday, spokesman for the Kent School District, said that the ban was lifted after 45 minutes.
