Idaho Man Convicted of Felony Bigamy

Christopher Cameron was convicted by an Idaho state judge of bigamy. Cameron was sentenced to up to three years in prison for his crime, and the judge credited the nine months that Cameron has already spent in jail toward his sentence. Cameron pleaded guilty to felony bigamy back in April of this year.

Cameron married a woman who lives in Utah back in 2007. He left the woman shortly before their first anniversary. The woman has been trying to divorce Cameron but is still married to him. Cameron then married another woman who filed for an annulment five weeks after their marriage. The second woman told authorities that Cameron lied to her about his age, income, assets, health, and last name. She claimed that Cameron also left her with a large amount of debt.
