Man Arrested For Interferring With Child Custody

A man was arrested in Enterprise this week when he attempted to interfere with the custody of his child. Jerry Lee William White, 20, was taken into custody by Daphne police on charges of interference with child custody.

He was found with Cathleen Pomar, 16, at an apartment in Enterprise unharmed. She had been declared missing on December 22 in Daphne. The apartment belonged to a friend of White's who lived there; when his truck was spotted near the apartment, police were called in to investigate. White contacted Pomar online and arranged to meet her in person when she came for a visit with her parents.

White could face up to ten years in jail for this felony. At this time he is being held at the Baldwin County Jail. Corporal Jason Vannoy added that bail has not been set for White.

If someone has threatened the life of your child, you need a family lawyer who can protect him or her from future harm.
