Mother Arrested during Child Custody Battle with Ex-Husband

This week in Georgia, a Germanic child custody battle that's been a woman from Greeley and her ex-husband took yet another step.

Last month, Clark Weeks followed his ex-wife Michelle to Greeley in an attempt to enforce a custody order for their five-year-old son, Conlan. He left the town without his son, and a local magistrate issued an arrest warrant for Michelle because she interfered with the court order which dictated that she needed to turn over her son.

Michelle Weeks countered to order and said that her former husband abused her and her son. However, she admitted there is no evidence in the courts of domestic violence. Clark has denied any allegations.

At this time, Michelle is in a Georgia jail after surrendering to authorities. Clark has been allowed to have supervised visitation with their son.

The attorney for Michelle said there was a guardian ad litem hearing last week where the abuse accusations were discussed, but the results of that hearing have not been released at this time.
