Man Accused of Killing Children Fights Divorce from Wife

A man accused of drowning his three children is fighting the  divorce efforts of his estranged wife by challenging the divorce agreement he signed in September.

Mark Castillo, who is representing himself in the divorce case, says he signed the papers while "under duress." At a recent divorce hearing, Castillo also said that he plans to seek part of the donations his wife received following the death of their children, as well as retirement savings and unspecified insurance money.

Although Castillo's wife, Amy Castillo, declined to comment, a friend who served as her spokesperson describes the action being taken by her estranged husband as "very frustrating."

Mark Castillo is being held at Baltimore's Clifton T. Perkins hospital center where he awaits murder charges for drowning his three children in a hotel bathtub back in March. The children were ages 6, 4, and 2.
