Michael J. Laucello

Mr. Laucello was born and raised in Utica, New York, and graduated from Utica Free Academy in 1969. He attended Union College (Schenectady, N.Y.) and received his B.A. magna cum laude in 1973. At Union he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Mr. Laucello received his law degree from U.B. Law School, and was admitted to practice law in New York in 1978.

Mr. Laucello has over 34 years of legal experience, as both a practicing lawyer and as a legal advisor to three Judges----New York State Supreme Court Justices John W. Grow and Anthony F. Shaheen and Oneida County Surrogate's Court Judge John Ringrose.

Mr. Laucello has been married to Victoria Laucello, a psychotherapist with a private practice in New Hartford, N.Y., since 1984, and they have two children----Michael, Jr., a graduate student at Columbia, and Christina, who graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville in May and is currently serving with Americorps.

Mr. Laucello coached Little League for many years, and served on his local League's Board of Directors. He presently serves on the Boards of Directors of Cornell Cooperative Extension, Holy Cross Academy in Oneida, and the Clinton Kiwanis Club.

Mr. Laucello is a member of the Judiciary and Courts Committee of the Oneida County Bar Association.
