Child Support Office Offering Amnesty

The Knox County Child Support office in the Kentucky area is reportedly offering an amnesty program to parents behind on child support payments. According to reports, the program will allow the parents to catch up on payments while avoiding jail. As a result of catching up on their payments, the parents will have their arrest warrants dismissed. The county reportedly has 200 bench warrants out for parents who have fallen behind on the child support payments. As of now, at least 20 parents have taken advantage of the program.
