Father Faces Felony Charges for Failure to Pay

Police departments across the nation are cracking down on parents that have been negligent in making child support payments. In many cases, these parents are being arrested on felony charges. One such father, 42-year-old D.F.P. of Pennsville, was arrested last week by the Salem County Sheriff's Office. Deputies were conducting a routine warrants sweep when they finally caught up with the man who owes more than $38,000 in back support. He was picked up with several other people that have warrants out for their arrest.
