Police Work for Days to Arrest Child Support Offenders

Officers in one county worked for three days to deliver dozens of warrants. All of the individuals named in the warrants were seriously delinquent in making their child support payments.

Thanks to the efforts of several officers and sheriff's deputies, 37 people were taken into custody. Altogether, these people owe over half a million dollars in back support. Officers from several police departments worked together to serve the warrants over multiple county lines. In addition to those arrested for late child support payments, police nabbed five more people on unrelated charges.
