Oregon Trying to Make it Easier for Parents to Get Child Support Payments

States across the nation are working to make it easier for parents to obtain child support payments. In some states like Oregon, it is easier than ever to withdraw the money you need to raise your children.

The state has worked out a deal with a major bank that will help parents who currently receive child support payments. Parents can use the bank's debit card system to withdraw funds from any bank-supported ATM free of charge. This means that parents will not have to pay an extra fee just to withdraw money from the ATM.

If the funds are not usually deposited into your bank account, you can work with bank employees to have them transferred to a reloadable prepaid card. You can obtain them at any supporting bank branch for free.

Do you have questions about child support payments? Has it been difficult to get your former partner/spouse to pay on time? If so, a family law attorney can work with you to fix your problems.
