Man Violates Parole and Restraining Order

One man who was already in trouble with the law just might find himself behind bars once again after violating his parole.

Last week the 25-year-old man was taken into custody when his ex-girlfriend called the police on him. Back in 2005, the 24-year-old woman was awarded a permanent restraining order against him, which demands that he not communicate her at all. Yet for some reason, the man felt compelled to follow her onto the campus where she takes community college classes last week.

When officers arrived on the scene, the young man was taken into custody immediately. Having already spent six years behind bars for a similar charge of felony menacing, the young man could face additional jail time for felony stalking and violating his parole. At this time, he is being held on $75,000 bond in Ault.

Is someone threatening your safety? If so, now is the time to discuss the details of your case with a family law attorney.
