Man Owes $35k in Back Child Support

Police in Eau Claire are searching for a man that reportedly owes $35,000 in back child support payments.

According to police reports the 30-year-old man has been charged with 14 separate felony counts of failing to pay child support. After the mother of the child determined her child's paternity, she made a request for child support payments back in 2002. From then until 2007, bench warrants were issued for the man due to non-payment; for this child he owes $11,000.

Warrants have also been issued for a second child, born to a different woman. The child, born in 1999, is supposed to receive 17 percent of the man's income. During the same time, additional bench warrants were served; the second child is owed $16,000 in support. Finally, the man fathered two more children with a third woman, and he is supposed to pay her $256 per month for them.
