Mother Sues Over Daughter’s Guardianship

A mother is reportedly suing Merrill Lynch in regard to her daughter’s guardianship. According to reports, she is claiming that her daughter’s asset accounts were valued at $3 million, but when the accounts were closed in 2009, the accounts had lost value. The mother had guardianship, but it was terminated by the daughter. The mother is claiming that the daughter was not told how to handle her accounts, but a broker on the matter claims the woman did not act on any recommendations that were given.
