Man Murder's Ex Due to Divorce

After a divorce proceeding lasts for nearly seven years a man in Bass Lake took measures to ensure that his wife and her divorce lawyer would get nothing. James Williamson shot his wife and her attorney outside a lakeside resort on Wednesday in his mad attempt to settle the proceedings once and for all.

Williamson had been fighting with wife Sandra Kay Williamson and her lawyer, Judith Soley, for the past seven years. Before he shot them both they were in the process of writing up the final petition where Soley would be asking for $1,181 per month in spousal support, their million-dollar home on Bass Lake, $155,000 in lawyers fees and $10,336 for other reimbursements.

Last week Williamson followed the two women to their lunch spot at Ducey's On The Lake, walked up to their minivan and started shooting. His body was later discovered by a Madera County Sheriff's Department in his home. The SWAT team found Williamson's body on a bed in their marital home.

If you are going through a stressful divorce, it is advised that you speak with a divorce attorney immediately.
