Chris Brown Wants Restraining Order to be Relaxed

Although he would probably like to go, Chris Brown's attorneys are denying rumors that he has asked a judge to relax a restraining order against him so that he can attend the Grammys.

The rapper has been working hard to regain his good standing in the music world and in the media since his episode of domestic violence against then-girlfriend Rihanna. Brown was found guilty for assault against Rihanna and given six months of community service and five years probation. He was also ordered to take several domestic violence counseling classes, not to mention stay away from his ex.

Since then Brown has successfully completed the 52-week program and has shown enough good behavior that he does not need to report in to an officer every three months. In fact, he is doing so well that Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg commended the singer on his turnaround. The judge even took into consideration the possibility of relaxing his restraining order against Rihanna.

If someone has been threatening you or a family member then you need to work with a family law attorney now to get a restraining order.
