In the New Jersey area, a child support sweep has reportedly resulted in $233,000 being recouped in payments. Apparently, officers served 953 warrants against offenders who owed child support. Unfortunately, the amount is only 1.2 percent of the $14.3 million that is still owed in child support.
According to reports, 57 people ended up being arrested as a result.
