Former Football Player Owes Child Support

One formerly famous football player seems to be seriously down on his luck this year.

An injury coupled with a lockdown led to chronic unemployment for the former wide receiver. He is currently in trouble for failing to make his child support payments, claiming no income for his delinquency. Last month a judge issued a warrant for his arrest when he failed to appear in court. Although the player claims that he was holding a public workout to garner interest in possible teams, nobody actually appeared at the workout.

The most recent argument against the player is that he is actually making some money off of his social media account. It is rumored that the football player is getting paid between $2,800 and $6,400 for his promotional tweets, but there is not yet any documentation to prove this. Regardless, the player is being asked to figure out a way to make his child support payments despite not having been recruited yet.

If you are owed past due child support, get help from a family lawyer who can assist you as you try to get delinquent payments.
