Halle Berry's Child Custody Case Resolved

After weeks of bitter arguments flying back and forth, actress Halle Berry has finally resolved the question of child custody with ex Gabriel Aubry.

Since last May, the two have been fighting for custody of their three-year-old daughter, Nahla. The pair, who had been dating for four years, went back to court in December when Aubry filed court papers seeking formal recognition as her father. This was to allow him to ask for joint legal and physical custody. The actress' representatives responded by saying that, "Halle has serious concerns for her daughter's well-being while in the care of her father for any extended period of time."

Something serious must have changed since then, because Berry told Extra TV that the two were able to resolve their issues peacefully. She went on to say that, "We needed a court and a judge to help us work out some of the delicate issues, and I'm so happy we've arrived at that place - because for her sake, this is the best way. We both love her more than life."

Now that the court sessions are over, Berry can resume her acting career, which was temporarily put on hold while attending to these legal matters.
