Dad to Pay Child Support for Disabled Adult Son

A father in Minnesota was told by the state’s Court of Appeals that he will have to pay child support for his 32-year-old disabled son. According to reports, the man was claiming that he shouldn’t have to pay part of his son’s care because he pays high taxes and his son is eligible for government support. However, Timothy Hanratty has been ordered to continue paying $2,300 a month in child support. His son currently lives in a group home where he receives intensive care.
