Woman Files for Restraining Order Against Shannon Sharpe

In Atlanta, former NFL player and superstar Shannon Sharpe will return back to his job as a football analyst for CBS after a woman which ruled her petition for a temporary restraining order against him.

Initially, Sharpe was slated to appear in court on Monday to adjust the allegations made by the woman who said the former football player forced her to have sex with him, conducted surveillance of her and threatened her life.

Fulton County court documents showed that the woman's petition was filed and then withdrawn at her own request. At this time, new sources are not disclosing her name because she claims she was sexually assaulted.

Sharpe said, "This issue was dismissed in its totality and no monies and no communications were exchanged. Now, I look forward to getting to work."

He took a brief break from his role as an analyst while the case was resolved, but CBS said that he would be returning to work on Sunday.
