Utah Men Come Together to Fight Domestic Violence

In Salt Lake City, news sources report that numerous men are coming together to take a stand against domestic violence.

On Wednesday, the Men's Anti-Violence Network of Utah (MAN) gathered together at the Salt Palace.  There, they learned more about stopping violence against both women and children.

Steve Reiher, MAN's program manager, told reporters, "For a long time these have been considered women's issues, but a number of us men feel that they are everybody's issues. Some of these victims are our sisters, our daughters, our neighbors and our friends; so we needed to get involved too."

In the state of Utah, domestic violence related murders accounted for half of the adult homicides in 2009.  This statistic is quite alarming and many have come together to combat domestic abuse and family violence throughout the state.

If you have been the victim of domestic violence, put an end to abuse now by hiring a family law attorney who can protect you.
