Child Support Sweep Nets 47 Arrests in Kansas

On Monday in Kansas, Butler County sheriff officers, officers from El Dorado Police Department, Wichita Police Department and Sedgwick County Police Department participated in the second annual Child Support Warrant Sweep.  The Sweep took place primarily in Sedwick County.

Police say that out of 52 attempts to serve warrants, officers were able to clear 9 in Butler County, 2 in Andover and 1 in Wichita.

Additionally, please officers were able to make six custody arrests.  Overall, the effort led to 248 attempt to serves, 47 arrests and 50 warrants being cleared in Kansas.
