Couple to Share Adoption Experience

Molly and Michael Turner have always agreed on one thing - that they want to adopt children. Starting in March 2008 the couple took in four children from Texas, in addition to a daughter that is their biological child. Molly has always dreamed of providing a "forever home" for children who otherwise may not get the chance to grow up in one. She credits her open-arms values to her mother who was president of a community pregnancy center growing up.

Since then the family of five expanded to seven and are now living in West Richland. While Molly stays home and fills many roles, including "awesome mom", husband Michael is a doctor at the Kadlec Neuroscience Center who focuses on rehabilitation and physical medicine.

This Friday Michael will speak about their experiences with adoption at the National Adoption Day event in Pasco. Two primary points that he hopes to cover are not quitting on your adopted children and the importance of staying committed to your role as a caretaker.

Considering adoption?  It is in your best interest to hire a family law attorney who can help you.
