Jermaine Jackson May Lose Home and Still Owes Child Support

Not everyone in the famed Jackson family is enjoying the high life right now. Jermaine Jackson is in danger of becoming homeless as his five bedroom, six bathroom house is set to be sold at foreclosure in Pomona, California on January 21. The starting bid is $2, 184, 233.

Under California law he has sixty days from the date of the foreclosure to vacate the property. The problem is, however, that Jackson is already experiencing financial difficulties. He filed a police report in September stating that someone stole $150,000 in furs, clothes, and jewelry that were stored in a suitcase in his home.

Jackson is also late on child support payments, owing as much as $100,000. He has already asked a judge to reduce his payments from $3,000 a month to $215.

If he cannot continue to stay in his home there is always the hope that Katherine Jackson will take pity on him and bring him in. She rents a mansion not too far away from him.

If you're having problems making your child support payments, it is advised that you work with a family law attorney!
